The Contact Mat is placed on the floor and activates when pressure is applied. When someone steps on it, it immediately triggers the system, making it an effective entrance alert solution for doorways, hallways, or bedside monitoring. It is especially useful for keeping track of movement within the home in a safe and discreet way.

Once activated, the Telephone Transmitter sends a wireless signal to the Alarm Clock Receiver. It also features input ports that allow connection to additional accessories such as magnetic switches or compatible alert devices using 3.5 mm or 2.5 mm trigger cables, expanding the functionality of this alerting device for deaf users.
